The Application of the Gear Pump in the Field of the Rubber and Plastics

Compared with the thermoplastic plastics, the processing temperature for these rubber compounds is quite low, but they still may suffer from burning or coking. Besides, they also have other burning questions, such as high viscosity, low lubrication and high abradability. In a word, the common gear pump can not satisfy the production requirements of these rubber compounds at all. Therefore, something about the gear pump should be redesigned. For instance, in order to control the temperature there is a coolant mechanism in the pump body and pump axis. The parts which are easily abraded should be coated with the special stiffened material.
